 Verificata We had a great stay in Modica. The apartment is unique and well decorated and has all of the essentials. The bedrooms are large and with 2 bathrooms was perfect for four people. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfortable. As for the position, the apartment is about half way up one side of the valley looking out at the duomo of San Giorgio. We were lucky enough to be there during the festival of San Giorgio and could watch the peak of the festival from the apartment.As mentioned by other reviews, the apartment requires some steep hills/stairs to access it. This is true of much of exploring Modica but this is worth keeping in mind if you’re not up for it. When welcoming us the hosts guided us to parking nearby the flat and it was very useful.Overall we had a lovely stay here and highly recommend the location, the apartment, and the hosts.

 Verificata We had a fantastic three-week stay at Dimora Enricuzzo with our 9-month-old. The house is very spacious with plenty of floor space, and we were able to borrow both a baby cot and a high chair. The layout with bedrooms at opposite ends is perfect for undisturbed sleep, and we loved the large, enclosed terrace. We also highly recommend making use of the in-house services; having someone come over to cook local dishes and receiving a massage at the house were wonderful experiences.Don’t let the stairs in Modica scare you! While there are about 40 steps from the house to the road where you must carry the stroller, the rest of the way to the main street is accessible. It’s steep, so it requires some fitness, but it’s very doable. We recommend bringing both a stroller and a baby carrier to see everything.A tip for newcomers: Let the host guide you to the parking spot the first time—it was a huge help arriving at night. Once you know the way, it’s easy.We visited many spots in Sicily,

 Verificata Our apartment was very beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. Modica is a very beautiful city with lots of incredible places to visit. The restaurants were fantastic. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute (once you get used to the driving and parking in Sicily). lolWe highly recommend staying at Henry's place.G. Grady

 Verificata Abbiamo trascorso un'esperienza meravigliosa soggiornando in questa splendida location. Arredata con cura ed attenzione in ogni minimo particolare.Abbiamo scelto questa location per poter trascorrere una settimana in totale relax ed essendo l'epicentro di tante località turistiche del sud della Sicilia, le abbiamo potute visitare agevolmente. Il pezzo forte della casa è la suite "la grotta" con la vasca idromassaggio, dove potersi rilassare dopo una giornata di mare. L'host ed il co-host impeccabili in ogni nostra richiesta, dalle informazioni generali alle più dettagliate, poi un plauso alla Sig.ra Maria che ci ha accolti e ci ha dato tantissime informazioni su cosa vedere nei dintorni e dove mangiare prelibatezze del posto. La consiglio a chiunque voglia visitare queste meravigliose città.

 Verificata This is a great spot for exploring Modica and other close by spots such as Ragusa and Scicli. Hosts were super responsive and helpful, but even with all the help, the place is quite difficult to locate. If you are thinking about coming here by car, I would strongly recommend going to Corso Umberto (the main street of the town) rather than trying to find the free parking in the upper town, upon arrival. The place is beautifully decorated, on a quiet vicolo far from the crowds. Looks just like the photos, and the hot tub was a great addition to the place. The kitchen is equipped well for breakfast and snacks, but might be a little under-equipped if you wanted to consider cooking a dinner ~ but with so many great local restaurants, why even worry about that? A great stay overall, but the arrival definitely was a difficult start. Not the fault of the host, though.

 Verificata Beautiful place to be, ideally located, just a few stairs away from the middle of Modica, with some limitations on the view from the property. All fine from our perspective. We enjoyed our stay very much. Modica is a good starting point for journeys to Noto valley and a little quieter than Noto or Ragusa.

 Verificata Eine unglaublich schöne Wohnung mitten in Modicas Altstadt, so etwas Außergewöhnliches sucht man sehr lange. Klimatisiert und vollausgestattet kann man auch gemütliche Zeit in der Wohnung verbringen. Die Wohnung ist nicht ganz so leicht zu erreichen, weil die Parkplätze etwas außerhalb liegen (bzw. liegen müssen). Weil Modica sehr schön auf zwei Hügelseiten liegt, gibt es in den Altstadt Gassen viele Treppen, die ggfs nicht so leicht mit kleinen Kindern oder älteren Personen zu machen sind (unsere beiden Kinder waren 12 und 9 zu der Zeit, das ging super). Modica war für uns ein absolutes Sizilien Highlight gewesen, die Stadt ist nicht übertouristisch voll (wie zB Taormina), aber wunderschön und zugleich lokal authentisch. Würde sofort wieder hinfahren. Sonia und Henry waren genauso perfekte Vermieter wie ihre Wohnung, jede Anfrage wurde sofort geklärt und wir haben noch tolle Tips bekommen.

 Verificata Mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Wohnung, sehr bequeme Betten und wunderschöne Bettwäsche!Die Wohnung ist, typisch für diese Gegend,verwinkelt gelegen. Es hat viele Treppen zur Wohnung, was aber für Menschen mit guter Gesundheit und guter Kondition kein Problem ist!Gemütliche Bars für den morgendlichen Cappuccino & den abendlichen Apero hat es genügend…Ein wenig Treppen steigen und in die seitlichen Gassen spähen lohnt sich auch dort.

 Verificata È stata un’esperienza meravigliosa, la dimora è curata sapientemente nei minimi dettagli, nulla è lasciato al caso. Ci siamo rilassati nella splendida jacuzzi dopo una giornata passata ad immergerci tra le delizie enogastronomiche e culturali di questo angolo di Sicilia. Henry ha risposto prontamente ad ogni nostra domanda. L’assistenza è stata eccellente, consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questa stupenda dimora e, data l’esperienza ci tornerò sicuramente!
